After three and a half wild, unforgettable years, Viva Motos is taking an approximately year-long break!

I’m Alli, your one-woman operation from the very beginning, and it’s been an absolute pleasure and honor to share my passions for ethical, respectful travel that supports and uplifts local communities, as well as motorcycle exploration as a thrilling form of adventure and personal challenge with all of you.

Here’s a quick look at what we’ve shared together:

• Over 120,000 kilometers on 7 different motorcycles through 6 states

• More than 500 riders and passengers (you’re all rockstars)

• 300+ guided tours (each one an adventure)

• 40+ lessons with first-time riders (you all survived, somehow!)

• Over 100,000 pesos spent in rural communities (thank you for supporting local!)

Together, we’ve explored nearly every inch of Chiapas, and I’m still just as in love with this beautiful place and it’s people as the day I first arrived—and I know you all now feel the same.

I’m about to head off to South America to fulfill a lifelong dream—riding all the way to the southernmost tip of the Americas! I’ll be sharing updates on my social media for anyone who wants to follow along. Afterward, I’ll be returning to my adopted home Chiapas to start the next chapter of Viva Motos… until then, rubber side down, blue skies, and nos vemos pronto!
